Unveiled in China, the Mitsubishi Grand Lancer is a reworked version of the brand’s Ex model and features massaged bodywork with the company’s Dynamic Shield front grille - seen on the Montero Sport SUV -, ascending creases along the length of the vehicle, and a bulbous rear end.
The interiors are also redesigned with a dashboard that is bedecked with softer touch materials and subtle piano black and silver trims. Stitched leatherette is contrasted with orange piping and a bold digital instrument cluster and an 8-inch infotainment screen.

Powered by a 1.8-liter petrol engine, the Grand Lancer pushes out 138 horsepower through a CVT transmission to the wheels located up front with six pre-determined makeshift points mimicking a standard auto box.
Whether the Grand Lancer will come as a replacement to the Fortis or the Ex, what’s certain is that it will reach the Middle East’s shores.
