Quick Review

The 2012 Nissan Armada is a great looking SUV with new features being a power lift gate and front seats that are heated when the SL model is chosen. Notable points for 2012 being a standard V8 engine, holding up to eight and having side curtain airbags fitted as standard. Similar models in the same class include the Chevrolet Tahoe and the Toyota Sequoia.

The Armada is a huge beast of an SUV with plenty of towing power as is an excellent choice for large families and offers plenty of options. There is seating for up to eight by way of three rows of seats and it is available in three trim levels. The vehicle comes fitted with standard running boards and power side mirrors which are heated. However features such as fog lamps and moon roof are optional.

The ride is superb and comfortable with dual zone automatic climate control with controls in the rear along as well. The driver’s seat is an eight way power driven seat as standard as is the leather wrapped steering wheel with shifter.

The 2012 Nissan Armada is fitted with a V8 engine with five speed automatic transmission as standard. It can be purchased with rear or four wheel drive and is fitted with speed sensitive power steering as standard which makes the vehicle a pleasure to handle.

Safety aspects of the Armada include side impact airbags fitted as standard for those in the front, along with side curtain airbags which cover all of the three rows of seats. Anti-lock braking, brake assist, electronic stability control and traction control is included as standard. Rear parking sensors make parking the large SUV easier.
