Quick Review

The Chrysler 300 SRT8 is the ultimate performer in Chrysler's line-up and is the most powerful to date. Having undergone a major update in 2011, the newest 2012 model is not significantly different.

The 300 SRT8 comes packed with a mighty 6.4 liter 8 cylinder engine that produces 470 horsepower and a tire burning 637 Nm. The 5 speed automatic transmission will get you from 0 – 100 km/h in a ridiculously quick 5 seconds and wont stop until it's out of juice at 280 km/h. The steering is responsive and the car handles wonderfully! It's almost mind-boggling that a 4 door family sedan can give you the same driving experience and enjoyment of a small sports car.

As for the interior, it comprises of high quality soft-touch materials and boasts ample rear legroom. The Sports timer is also easy to use and a great feature which allows drivers to have an accurate reading of their 0 – 100 Km/h and quarter mile runs. On the downside though, the interior does look bland and not very exciting.

In terms of the exterior, the Chrysler 300 SRT8 is the perfect combination of beauty and beast. The LED lights and chrome inserts are unmistakeably luxurious while at the same time the large grille, massive rims, spoiler and large dual exhausts are unmistakeably sporty.

If however, the Chrsyler 300 SRT8 does not tick the right boxes for you, have a look at the Chevrolet Caprice SS, Dodge Charger SRT8 and the BMW M5.
