Changes in 15 bus routes in Abu Dhabi

The number of commuters in Abu Dhabi has increased and in the process of growing, that is why the Department of Transport in Abu Dhabi (DoT) decided to introduce route expansion and changes in 10 buses operating in Abu Dhabi and 5 in Al Ain.

Bus services in some areas will have to be cancelled and the expansions of other routes will take place.

General Manager of the Bus Office at the DoT, Saeed Mohammed Fadel Al Hameli, said in a quote by Al Khaleej Times newspaper "These route modifications have been implemented following a comprehensive study conducted by the DoT on all existing route services with an aim to address commuters’ needs for world-class, convenient and almost round-the-clock bus transportation options."
