The Nissan Patrol has come a long way from being a Willys Jeep doppelganger in the 1950s. Once a rugged-looking 4x4, it has transformed into an SUV boasting a sleek exterior and eight-passenger capacity, competing with the likes of Lexus LX 2017, Ford Expedition 2017 and Toyota Land Cruiser 2017 in the Qatari market. Despite its extensive evolution, the Patrol remains a favorite off-road and has been of great service to government officials across the globe.
Exterior
The Nissan Patrol 2017 sports seamless and glossy bodywork. In addition to its 5.17 meters length, 2 meters width and 1.94 meters height, it is available in colors such as black, pearl white, silver metallic light beige, and dark brown. Its overall look, which is a far cry from the intimidating appearance of its predecessor, makes it a handsome option for both on-and-off-road driving.

The Patrol’s slick exterior is matched by a spacious cabin that can accommodate up to eight passengers, making it an ideal car for weekend trips away from the bustling city. Adding to the comfort inside, are rear A/C vents those in the center and last rows.

Numerous safety and security features go with the flair and coziness of the Patrol. Specs
In its least expensive suit, the Patrol’s 4.0-liter V6 engine produces 275 horsepower and 395 Nm of torque, which allows it to reach 100 km/h in 11.5 seconds and a top speed of 200 km/h. The beefier 5.6-liter V8 unit ramps up the figures to 400 horsepower and a tree-tugging 560 Nm of torque.
Verdict
For over 60 years, the Patrol has been a frontrunner in the world of off-road driving despite the numerous changes in its appearance. Nevertheless, this superb-looking and highly versatile SUV trumps its rivals on nearly all fronts.
