AGMC and BMW Motorrad to Unveil Cutting Edge Motorbikes at Intersec 2024

As cities transcend in terms of technological advancements and innovation, it becomes important to elevate security to a new level. A prime facet of security is vehicles that need to be tough, dependable and emerge as high-tech solutions to thwart the risk to safety under any circumstance. To showcase its prowess of manufacturing such vehicles, AGMC Group, the official imported of BMW vehicles for Dubai, Sharjah and Northern Emirates in association with BMW Motorrad will be exhibiting a lineup of its Authority and Protection motorbikes at the 25th Intersec 2024, held at Dubai’s World Trade Centre.

The event has been organized under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Mansoor Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum and will be held at the Dubai World Trade Centre from January 16 to January 18. The event welcomes corporates, government officials and audience to showcase and witness some of the most fascinating security developments. This year, the event was organized with grandeur encompassing 1,000 exhibitors strewn over 12 halls to provide glimpses of their curations under 8 areas of security. 

Four unique contraptions, each prominent for a particular trait have made their way to the concourse. These include:

1. F 900 GS-P: When the going gets tough, the F 900 GS-P gets going. It’s the response to all types of terrains. It aims to provide a supple ride, even on the harshest of terrains with optimal grip levels through weight optimization. Powered by a parallel twin-engine, it offers great performance and the plastic tank reduces weight so that the bike doesn’t get heavy on the arms. 

1. R 1250 RT-P: This is a tourer which offers a comfy ride over long excursions along the countryside and boundaries of the urban jungle. Depending on the requirement, it can be emboldened with accessories to take the experience to new heights. The bike can pull up to 200 Km/h courtesy a two-cylinder liquid-cooled four-stroke boxer engine that belts out 136 HP.

1. R 18 B Concept: This concept is BMW’s package to those enchanted by a bagger motorcycle design. To suit its heavy-weight character, an 1802cc boxer engine has been deployed with the task of lunging it forward with ease. Accentuating its comfort, is a stretched seat. Other virtues of this bike include integrated tail lights and a massive 24-litre tank. It produces 91 HP and 150 Nm of peak torque. 

1. CE 04-P: This is a moped meant to scud easily through traffic to meet those extreme emergency situations. It offers swift acceleration thanks to 42 ponies and a low centre of gravity ensures great poise and dynamics. It has been fitted with a high-voltage battery and 40 lithium-ion cells for 130 Km range. In a hasty situation, the optional quick charger has the rider’s back.
