2016 Kia Soul Gets Turbocharged With AWD Option

The Kia Soul looks like a very special car from the first glance. It is definitely not marketed as a mainstream product and has carved a niche for itself over the years. It is because the Soul is not an SUV instead, it is a hatchback styled as an SUV. It doesn’t even have AWD option. However, things are about to change as Kia is planning to add AWD option and a sportier 1.6 liter turbocharged engine producing 200 BHP. This new model was supposed to release this year but now it has been postponed to next year. By adding the AWD, the Soul will enter a new market segment.
