Based on the underpinnings of the Ghost, the Wraith is a magnificent four-seater coupe that joined the brand’s line-up in 2013 and the first Rolls Royce to make its way into the YallaMotor garage. Radiating with elegance, the Wraith occupies a dominant position in the model line-up and, even more so, when finished in limited Inspired by Music trim.

Key Features:
Engine 6.6L Twin-Turbo / V12
Transmission 8-speed automatic
Power 624 Hp / 800 Nm
Top Speed 250 km/h
Price AED 1,300,000 Basic

Exterior

The masterpiece of Pavle Trpinac, the Wraith Inspired by Music succeeds the Inspired by Film and Inspired by Fashion models, and is as much an aesthetic experience as it is an aural one. Paying homage to its long-standing love affair with the global music scene, the Wraith Inspired by Music dons a deep copper hue and helps highlight the immaculately detailed chrome along the bodywork.

Broad haunches and a distinct waistline are complemented by a set of ebony embellished 21-inch wheels and help connote the Wraith’s affinity to performance. Created over 450 hours, the Wraith is the embodiment of perfection and beautifully joins class with malevolence.

Interior

Offering an experience that matches, if not surpasses, the extravagant first-class cabin of world-class airlines, the interiors of the British coupe are adorned in supple leather and book matched copper trim, amongst other exquisite materials. Copper colored door inserts, which start at the front of the cabin before tapering at the rear, emphasize the Wraith’s contours and accompany the delicately designed speaker grilles.

Crafted from finely-woven leather, the door panniers and floor mats add an additional depth of tactility to the cabin. The Mahogany wood, chrome, and glass finished buttons all elevate the experience and truly make it look as impeccable as it feels.

Safety & Features

Staying true to its roots, the Wraith is equipped with an abundance of technology that possesses the power to bewilder. From a satellite-aided transmission that uses GPS data to select the right gear, to a Wi-Fi hotspot that allows complete connectivity and voice commands to control the infotainment system, the Wraith distinctly sits in a class of its own.

The pièce de résistance of the Wraith Inspired by Music is the Bespoke Audio system, that in addition to being composed of copper, is the product of a two-year development spree. Positioned to deliver an unrivalled aural experience, the Bespoke Audio system pumps out 1300 Watts through 18-speakers scattered around the cabin, and in a manner that is bound to rival a live performance while delivering plenty of goosebumps.

Drive

True to its enigmatic presence and fastback silhouette that exude elegance and power, the Wraith Inspired by Music is powered by a 6.6-liter twin-turbo V12 that whips out 624 horsepower and 800 Nm of torque – figures that herald the Wraith as the most powerful Rolls-Royce to date. Delivered graciously to the rear wheels, the 2,360kg coupe hits the 100 km/h mark in 4.4-seconds and bears an electronically restricted top speed of 250 km/h.

With an immense amount of grip, the Wraith remains composed even when pushing the boundaries of physics and utilizes an intelligent array of technologies to compensate for the most meagre of alterations in the road surface. The air suspension system constantly studies the surface to ensure all occupants within the cabin are being delivered the synonymous ‘magic carpet ride’ and nothing short.

Verdict

Packed with splendor and impressiveness, the Wraith is a model in the British marque’s line-up that is at the forefront of innovation. Expanding its target audience, the Wraith is a Rolls Royce in the truest of senses and one that appeals to the performance inclined luxury connoisseur. Unlike other models, however, it’s one you’d much prefer driving than being driven in.
